Words of Wisdom

Everything that God does is perfect and His creation of man was no exception. There are three things that God never intended for man:

1. He never intended for man to be sick.

2. He never intended for man to sin.

3. He never intended for man to die. God created man to live forever.

The plan of God was altered by man through disobedience to the Word of God. In the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve destroyed the beautiful communion and fellowship God had established which formed the basis of God’s plan for man. (Genesis 3) For the purpose of restoring the original intentions of God Almighty in man, Jesus Christ came into this World. His purpose was to bring man back into the family of God with all the full benefits lost by Adam (John 3:16) “For God so loved the World, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”

In Romans 2:28-29 it is written” A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outwardly and physical. No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise is not from men, but from God.” According to this passage to be a Jew meant you were in God’s family, an heir to all his promises.(Genesis 12:2-3) God’s family is composed of those persons who live or otherwise exist in a direct relationship with God. The head of this family is God, the father. The other primary persons are Jesus, the son, and the Holy Spirit. These three persons, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit, exist and function as one Triune unit who compose and manage everything about God’s family.

All whose hearts are right with God are real members of God‘s family and their membership are based on internal qualities and not external qualities alone. Attending church or being baptised, confirmed or accepted for membership is not enough to be accepted as real member of God’s family, just as submitting for circumcision was not enough for the Jews. God desires our heartfelt devotion and obedience. The lesson from the anointment of David as the King of Israel to replace King Saul for disobedience confirmed the Truth that our inward appearance is the most important. “But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not consider his appearance or his height for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” The important truth to remember as a Christian to keep our membership in God’s family is that God judges by faith and character, not appearances. Most people spend a considerable amount of time maintaining and making more attractive their outward appearance and neglect their inward beauties that are inner character. It is what our inner heart looks like that will determine our position in the family of God and entitlement to Abraham’s blessing (earthly blessings and eternal Kingdom). The fundamental truth is that while everyone can see your face, only you and God know what your heart really looks like. Take a step today and begin to apply biblical principles to your life style and you will start to claim your entitlement with confidence in Christ Jesus.

Almighty God give me a new beginning and create in me a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me in order to fulfil Abraham’s blessings in my life. Amen

Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
